Where Water Flows, Life Grows
When you plant trees and plants, you are planting water. Water and vegetation grow together in mysterious and magnificent ways. Yes, trees and plants need water – their lives depend on it – they ‘use it’ to grow. But in the brilliance of Mother Nature’s extreme and constant reciprocity, trees and plants also channel water – both through their roots and through their leaves. They drink in and exhale and percolate. They slow the rain down on their endless leaves so that it can be absorbed by the land and guided into streams. They create and attract clouds. They purify. They receive and they give. And this creates the freshwater cycle. The cycling of water on the macro and micro levels. Trees and plants relationship with water is vital to all living terrestrial creatures – including humans.

All life comes from the light of the sun. It’s pure magic that we live on a planet that knows how to transform sunlight into the world of Nature. We are made of sunlight. Tiny photons showering the Earth, being metabolized by plankton and plants and trees. Feeding whales and lions and butterflies. Faceting into millions of forms of creatures great and small. Processing through biology into air for all lungs to breathe in and pump through the hearts of the world. A star beaming energy through every lifeform. Warming the salty waters of the ocean, creating invisible atmospheric rivers that are pulled to shore by the Great Forests that transform this vapor elixir into clouds and rain. Rivers, streams, lakes, waterfalls, aquifers, hydrated plants, animals and soils. All energized and watered by the light of the sun. It’s a miracle to be alive on planet Earth. Soak it in.

Heal Yourself
′′Heal yourself with sunlight and moon rays. To the sound of the river and waterfall. With the sea swing and the flattering of the birds. Heal yourself with mint neem and eucalyptus. Sweeten with lavender, rosemary and chamomile. Cuddle with the cocoa beans and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Put love in tea instead of sugar and drink looking at the stars. Heal yourself with the kisses that the wind gives you and the hugs of the rain. Stand strong with bare feet on the ground and everything that comes from it. Be smarter every day listening to your intuition, looking at the world with your forehead. Jump, dance, sing, so that you live happier. Heal yourself, with beautiful love, and always remember... you are the medicine."

The Generative Genius Of Nature
Song 'Reserva Pra Dois' by Branko & Mayra Andrade
'Woven From Sunlight And Fallen Leaves'
This Earthly Queen is a reminder that we are held together by sunlight and fallen leaves. That Mother Nature is within us. We sit within the cradle of the natural forces around and within us that rock us back and forth in rhythms that are beyond our comprehension and beyond our control. Mother Nature is constant. She breaths in and out with the tides and solar radiation pulsing photons into enzymes that turn ether into form.
Her genius can never be fully grasped and yet we are that very genius and are woven into the story of the sun and moon just like every single other creature that exists now, has ever existed and will ever exist into the future. We are of Planet Earth. We are just as much the ashes of the fires as we are the leaves on the trees, and we are seeding our reality with every thought and every intention. May she be a reminder to choose wisely. Sow with care. Bow to the mystery and learn to love more and more the Nature of the life you have been given. You are a gift. And the gift is in the giving.
