I feed my soul a steady stream of Nature photography and video. It reminds me of the world beyond humanity. It reflects back to me the pure genius of the multifaceted hologram of Nature and the majesty of this planet. It makes me ponder the differences and similarities between humans and our animal kin. Hawks for example. Humans are in awe of their beauty, strength and character and project a lot of symbolism onto them - and then relate to them through the lens of that symbolism. Hawks are such complex creatures. Shaping the landscape by keeping their prey in constant vigilance and motion - carvers of the ways of evolution. And when they go after prey - it can seem violent. But are hawks violent? Or is violence something premeditated or reckless - driven by emotion? Hawks kill to eat. And they only kill to eat. Never for play. They are in balance with their environment. There is no part of a hawk that would hoard or kill for pleasure or a feeling of dominance or out of fear or a mis-guided belief. Only to sustain themselves. There is an elegance to this aspect of Mother Nature. Everything in a cycle of birth and death. One life giving itself to another and then another and another and around the circle of life goes in a perpetual rhythm from the micro world of the soil to the top predators and back. The beauty of it all is beyond words.

All images are printed as luxury fine art Metal Prints. Metal Prints are the most stunning printing format available because of the enhanced luminosity and dimensionality that shines through this high tech printing process. And while gorgeous, Metal Prints are also the most practical format because they are light weight, durable, extremely color stable and environmentally friendly.

To give back to Mother Nature, 100 trees are planted in your honor for every image sold.
